Burglary Protection

Our customers can feel safe and secure against break-ins. Lacuna folding doors are top-hung, feature locks on all doors, and have no dirt-collecting bottom track. The glass is bonded from the inside, preventing potential intruders from gaining access—even if the doors are damaged.

Our beautifully designed handles and hinges are made from 18 mm brushed acid-resistant stainless steel.

ALL DOOR PANELS ARE LOCKED IN PLACE

When a Lacuna folding door is closed, each individual door panel is securely locked in place. Combined with heavy-duty hinges, this ensures that the door cannot simply be pulled or pushed open.

SAFETY GLASS

As an option, various glass specifications can of course be selected. For installations with public access, safety glass may be required, as many of our markets demand this. Tempered and/or laminated glass is therefore not a problem.

TESTS AND APPROVALS

One thing is words—another is reality. Safety is important to us. That’s why we naturally have our folding doors and folding windows tested at the Danish Technological Institute.

SECURITY LOCK

A Lacuna folding door can be supplied with a wide range of locking options—from a traditional patio handle with a three-point locking system to SKAFOR-approved security systems.

It is also possible to choose cylinder locks on both the inside and outside, as well as handle options with integrated code access.

INTERNAL GLAZING BEADS

Lacuna folding doors are designed with internal glazing beads, offering several advantages. From a security perspective, this means that unauthorized persons cannot remove the glazing beads and take out the glass.
